In addition to portrait and event photography and matting/framing options, I provide a variety of restoration, photo re-presentation, and media transfer services. These include: Restoring Old/Damaged Photographs and Slides. I restore pictures and slides damaged by time, poor storage conditions, and elements (water, fire, etc.). Faded and torn photographs and slides are digitally scanned, repaired, and then reproduced. Turn those long-ago wedding photos back to “newlywed” condition! Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page to see some examples of my work. You won’t believe what I can do for you!
Black-and-white To Color. If you have black-and-white photographs that you would like updated to color, I can artistically add color to the print or enhance and correct color that has faded.
Slideshows. I can turn old snapshots or slides into DVD slideshows set to music. Instead of leaving your photographs disorganized and boxed up, consider turning special images of life events – weddings, retirement dinners, childhood memories – into custom presentations for family and friends.
Media Transfer. I also provide VHS-to-DVD transfer services. No longer have a video recorder to play your wedding tapes? Enjoy them again as DVDs!

These 2 top and bottom photos were a lot of fun to do. The top one was an ordinary old color snapshot made into a 18 x 24 watercolor. The one below is a black and white converted to a color picture. What can I restore for you? |

These photographs provide an example of my restoration work. In the top left photo, the top of dad’s head is missing, I borrowed the top of dad’s head from the lower photo! Then I made color corrections, gallery wrapped and finished it as a painting. Brush strokes are emphasized here to better illustrate the final gallery wrapped canvas work of art shown on the right -- ready to hang on the wall without having to purchase a frame at additional cost! |
